Dave J Stewart

Howdy,  I'm Dave J Stewart and I'm a guitarist/ singer/songwriter from Scotland. 

At the age of seven, I picked up that guitar! (A line from Don't Give Up The Day Job, which will be on my forthcoming album). 

I have always loved guitar based music, and my big love is country.  My songs are all about storytelling, and taking the listener on a musical journey.

I have been playing guitar for over forty years, it has always been the one constant in my life, and I have loved every second of it. I have played pretty much every popular genre of music, in almost every type of venue.

Some of my biggest musical highlights, so far, are, playing at the Oran Mor venue in Glasgow, recording a track at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tennessee, and, most recently, going to Abbey Road studios in London. 

What sets me out from the crowd, is I always play from the heart, because that's when the magic happens!

I have spent the last three years writing and recording, and I am now launching my musical journey. 

I have an album recorded and the first track from it, called Have A Beer, is now available on  on all major streaming and download sites.
